Your participation in Return to the Realm makes it possible for North Shore Senior Center to fund critically-needed resources:
- Over two-thirds of North Shore Senior Center's work focuses on senior and family services, providing in-home and community-based services to older adults who are frail, physically or developmentally disabled, suffer from abuse, are economically disadvantaged, and/or have special needs.
- In fiscal year, 2015, the Center provided support services to almost 20,000 low-income and poverty-level seniors in 23 north suburban communities.
- Adults with Alzheimer's disease or other dementias find mental and physical stimulation through art, music and dance therapy with House of Welcome Adult Day Services. This state-of-the-art day program gives participants and their families supporting, life-affirming programs and services.
