Since its opening in 1983, North Shore Senior Center's House of Welcome has been a place for individuals with memory loss to feel valued, safe and respected. The Adult Day Services program provides specialized person-centered dementia care in a home-like setting for people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of memory loss.

Your donation today will help us expand this critical, award-winning program that people with memory loss and their family caregivers rely on for socialization, therapeutic small-group activities, supportive case management services and respite. Headquartered in Northfield, IL, North Shore Senior Center (NSSC) is a nationally-accredited 501(c)(3) organization that serves older adults from the most independent to those needing more support. NSSC assists and engages more than 24,000 older adults and their families in Chicago and the northern suburbs through an array of social services programs, specialized care for people living with dementia, support groups, private care management, educational and wellness programs, and volunteer opportunities.
